I am a registered social worker and use in depth experience gained over 35 years in the public and not for profit sectors to strengthen leadership and practice.  I support organisations to improve child protection, safeguarding and decision making for and with children and families. I have expertise in supporting children and families facing adversity and disadvantage. I have served in a range of senior management roles in my career. Most recently I served over 11 years as the Chief Executive of a leading Scottish children's charity. I was honoured to accept an OBE in 2022 for services to children and families.
