With over 35 years’ experience across public and not‑for‑profit sectors, I bring deep expertise in social work, organisational leadership, and child protection. As a registered social worker for more than two decades, my practice has been shaped by direct work with children and families facing adversity, and by senior roles that demanded clarity, compassion and strategic focus.

For 11 years, I served as Chief Executive of one of Scotland’s leading children’s charities, driving national influence, service innovation and organisational growth. Today, I support organisations to strengthen leadership, improve safeguarding practice, and make better decisions with and for children and families.

My work is grounded in a lifelong commitment to social justice, fairness and the belief that every child deserves safety, opportunity and a voice. In 2022, I was honoured to receive an OBE for services to children and families.
